Meet Our J-Built Teams

J-Teams are what let us offer efficient and cost effective solutions to roof construction and maintenance.

As a rule, construction is half materials and half labor.  There's not a heck of a lot one can do about materials costs.  There are perhaps only 20 major materials suppliers in the DC area and you can bet they keep an eye on each other's prices.

That leaves labor cost as the one thing we can control.  A common way to control costs is to hire day labor but you never know what you're going to get.  Our way is a long term investment to build task specific teams.

Some of our teams have worked together for 15 years.  Most are friends on and off your job and, yeah, they're proud of their work and are paid a living wage.

So our "secret" to being cost effective and delivering good quality is really quite simple: carefully divide your job among the teams with the right skills.  In the end, nobody is standing around wasting your money and the experienced teams already know what needs to be done, how to do the job efficiently, and have justifiable pride in their work.
